Some of the most amazing sunsets occur in winter. Why? The air is cold and dry and that yields more spectrally pure colors. The sun sets behind my home from October through February. And I love communicating the emotion I feel watching a beautiful sunset through oil painting. Every one is unique, each with a different message imprinting on my soul.
